Kookaburra Sport is a sports equipment manufacturer specialising in cricket and field hockey balls and equipment, bespoke teamwear, clothing and footwear. They predominantly sell products via existing retailers, online, and direct to cricket and hockey Leagues and Associations in over 50 countries worldwide.
They wanted to improve their organic visibility for all the core areas of their business and engaged Impressive to improve the B2C e-com revenue.
Kookaburra Sport were previously targeting 3 countries using one domain but then decided to split into 3 ccTLD domains (AU, NZ and UK). The brand was using a very unique CMS which was proving technical issues and content upload challenging. They also had 2 parts of their website B2B (which was for their retail partners), and B2C on the same CMS. The final objective was to improve rankings, transactions and revenue for cricket and hockey equipment as well as AFL/NRL merchandise and other sporting apparel.
We helped this brand with a complex SEO migration to split their old domain into 3 separate ccTLD domains to prevent any loss of traffic or rankings.
